Become a Wholesale Producer for Seasonal Harvest
We are deeply committed to empowering small farms by providing access to reliable markets, fair economic opportunities, and supportive relationships. Partnering with us is straightforward, and we provide a reliable pathway into the wholesale market.
How to become a producer:
1
Meet our producer requirements.
2
Fill out our producer
3
Follow our weekly distribution process.
Producer Requirements
-
Grow clean food.
We do not require organic certification, but we do require the minimal use of chemicals. It is important that our growers use OMRI approved supplies whenever possible, and assistance with the transition to or purchase of OMRI supplies is available.
-
Provide your product availability every Monday by 5 p.m.
Producers can send availability via email, text, or phone call.
-
Sort products according to size.
Products should be listed by and packaged in similar sizes. For example, small, medium, and large beets should all be packaged separately. We cannot accept packages with large and small products packaged together.
-
Appropriate food-grade packaging must be used for all products, like food-grade boxes, bags, and liners.
If support is needed in acquiring packaging materials, Seasonal Harvest purchases packaging materials in bulk, and we make these available to our farms at cost. Boxes can be reused but must be clean and able to securely hold products.
-
Label packaging with the required information.
For traceability, each box, bucket, bag, or other packaged goods needs to be labeled with the source farm information, including farm name and contact information, product name and quantity, and the customer’s name. Labels must be legible and large enough to read from a reasonable distance. Seasonal Harvest can provide custom farm labels at a small cost for those who don’t have their own labels.
-
Deliver product on time.
Our main distribution center is located at Ledgeview Gardens in De Pere, WI. We have a few additional delivery location options to help reduce the distance our farmers need to drive. We have a very tight weekly schedule, so it is imperative that deliveries are made on time.

Weekly Distribution Process
-
Producer provides availability of the product and quantity by Mondays at 5 p.m.
We prefer availability to be submitted by email but can accept calls and text messages as well.
-
Seasonal Harvest aggregates that product into a sales form. This form goes out to customers by Tuesday afternoon.
-
Customers have until Thursday at noon to place their orders.
-
Seasonal Harvest will provide each producer with a list of customers, products, quantities, and any special packaging requirements.
You will receive this form no later than Friday morning.
-
Producers have until Sunday at 6 p.m. to harvest, package, and deliver their products to Seasonal Harvest’s distribution center at Ledgeview Gardens.
We have a few options for delivery locations to reduce the distance producers need to drive, so if a producer is looking for an alternate drop location, it is important they let us know.
-
Seasonal Harvest delivers customer products on Monday morning.
Occasionally we have an extra delivery day on Thursdays. We will notify our producers when that opportunity arises.
-
Once products have been delivered, producers send Seasonal Harvest an invoice.
-
Seasonal Harvest will pay the producer within 30 days.
